INCOTERMS 2020 · FCA · OPERATIONAL VALUE SHEET
FCA: make the named-place carrier handoff visible.
FCA works across transport modes and gives containerised movements a clearer carrier handoff than an on-board sea term. Record the exact named place before allocating freight, risk and customs-value evidence.
Use for any mode when the seller delivers the goods to the carrier or nominated person at the named place.
Risk moves when delivery to the carrier is completed at the named place.
