CUSTOMS WORKFLOW · T1 / NCTS · OPERATOR HANDOFF
Keep the transit open only as long as the movement is.
A T1 movement joins the principal, guarantee, NCTS declaration, transport documents and offices of departure and destination. The handoff is not complete until destination evidence closes the movement.
Name the principal and guarantee, obtain the NCTS MRN and accompanying document, present the goods at departure and destination, and retain discharge evidence until the guarantee is released.
Move the job in order.
Each checkpoint produces evidence for the next person or system. A failed checkpoint stays visible.
